This is just to let you know that after many years of wonderful, uplifting shoebox campaigns, we are going to have a break here at
21st Century Child.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has contributed. Every box delivered to a child has made a difference here at home and overseas. I have been privileged to witness the power of love and the simple shoebox.
For those of you who would like to continue doing shoeboxes for children in Eastern Europe you may wish to look at the charity ‘Link Romania’ to see whether you would like to be involved with their appeal. They will be collecting shoeboxes nationwide, they don’t place any literature in the boxes and promise not to discriminate in who the boxes are given to. 21st Century Child will continue to support children’s projects overseas, develop our child sponsorship and try to attract more funding.
