 40,000 children die every day from perventable diseases 12 million children will die this year before they reach the age of five Today, in Britain, a child has a one in three chance of being born into poverty  The European Community Humanitarian Office, 'ECHO' states: 'ECHO recognises the pivotal role of the media in conveying the realities of humanitarian action via responsible reporting. However, the media in general have their own agenda and will often not cover worthwhile stories because of other priorities and budget limitations. Many children are forgotten because they are perceived as 'old news'. 21CC was created to raise the profile of millions of vulnerable children who have been forgotten. We do not duplicate the work of other charities but rather work with them, to be 'the voice of the 21st Century Child.'  21CC works, but we need to produce more quality children's reports and films. We also need to provide schools with support materials, videos and fund a state of the art big screen, multi media humanitarian roadshow. We are seeking visionary funding partners who understand the important of this charitable project.
